You may be asking what Help-Portrait is…

Help-Portrait is a global movement of photographers using their time, gear and expertise to give back to those in need – taking pictures, printing pictures, giving pictures, but more importantly, giving hope

This is my 3rd year participating in the Help-Portrait project; the Las Vegas chapter chooses to photograph and make over homeless teens at the Shannon West Youth Center. After 3 years, I can honestly say its one event i look forward to every year. We as photographers, make up artists, and volunteers, get to use use our talent to give people in need, hope and a chance to see how beautiful they are. Its a great thing, and i urge every creative out there to donate their talent for the cause atleast once and see how great it is to potentially change someones life, by instilling hope.
